Welcome

·       Simon opened the meeting and welcomed all attendees. He also acknowledged traditional owners past and present.

House Keeping

·       Minutes of November 2021: … Therese/Tony … passed

·       Business arising:- Action by TC (Other business);  News re 402 Macaulay (Chair report)

·       Correspondence :  …. Xmas cards LM, Nick Reese, Southbank RA, Lighthouse request, News from Carlton, Melissa (possible new member), Sustainable Aust Party emails.

Reports

·       Finance/Membership:- Tony – Grant Dec/Jan $1871 from CoM; Cost of Xmas celebrations $154; $10.700+ current balance. Completed acquital of previous grant from CoM. No new members.

·       Metro Tunnel … no new News; of PCCC no report

·       Moonee Ponds Creek report …. Presented by John W. graffiti being regularly removed, however CoM property (pumps) not cleaned so regularly. Rohan to look into; CoM are cleaning pillars; Transurban, West Gate  and Vic Roads not playing ball. Graffiti increased significantly.

·       Westgate Tunnel Report: no report, Fran absent.

·       Chairperson report … Re 402 Macaulay Rd – Assemble met with meeting Barnett residents in January. A further meeting is planned for this month. Letter from Stuart Tait questioning some issues about the development. Melanie Del Monaco now contact person dedicated to Kensington …. to visit next meeting. Letter from Minister Jacinta Allan re legacy parking 82 parking places reinstated … loss of 62  places overall!  Hobsons St will not be used for further parking.

Other Business/issues

·       Thanks to David E for the map identifying gaps in membership. Simon and Tony to look at gaps and propose strategies for areas of few or no members. Simon talk to Deb Wilson re Unison flats and Rilke re apartments

·       John/Simon – some discussion about arrangements for the proposed walk of Moonee Ponds Creek with Ellen Sandell.

·       Therese … the issue of some swamp rats … just near school.

·       Airport NS runway. More Noise …. How do we know?

·       Sewerage work in Epsom Rd. Info from Melanie DM next meeting.
