Monday 11th November  7:30-9:30 Kensington Association General Meeting – guest speaker ‘Greening Kensington’ from Council. Reports include rail action in South Kensington and we need to sign off on the new constitution, ratified in September, but we had an admin hitch.

Tuesday 12th November 6.30 pm Estonian House, 43 Melville Road, Brunswick West. Moreland City Council  is ramping up its opposition to the State Government’s proposed East West Link project and will hold its first public meeting to inform the community. Important for those wanting to hear about the Comprehensive Impact Statement and its potential environmental, social and technical impacts for the local community.

Wednesday 13th November 5:30-8:30pm MelbourneTown Hall. The City of Melbourne is hosting a Linking Melbourne Authority display on the East West Link. Visit the Council East West Link site for lots of information: http://participate.melbourne.vic.gov.au/projects/east-west-link-public-meetings

Sunday 17th November 10am to 3pm Kenington Art and Crafts Market at the Kensington Primary School. If you haven”t been yet – check it out. With only about 6 weeks to Christmas it is a great place to buy presents for your friends, family and even yourself!!
