If you are still not sure about letting Council know how you feel about the plans for 507 Macaulay Rd, stop and think where five rubbish bins of 240 litres are going to fit on the shopping strip –  they won’t. Wheelie bins of 240L would each be 55cm across and 74cm deep,  footpath hogging at its smelliest. The five big bins will need to be put out for emptying on the main street – a hazard for our residents and visitors with mobility issues and tempting for pranksters….  until someone bothers to put them away.
It is still worth letting Council know your concerns
